Designed for young enthusiasts, age 8 to 12, the Youth 20 snowshoes were designed with a binding that’s easy to use, sizing to fit fast-growing users, and durable materials that stand up to a kid’s abuse. Simple and intuitive, the EVA tongue of the Grom binding hugs the foot, providing warmth, eliminating pressure points, and reducing the hassle of straps. The fixed toe cord keeps the snowshoe underfoot and allows easier maneuvering for energetic kids. Atlas’ proven, proprietary V-Frame tails and solid tempered steel toe and heel traction offer the performance your kids need to keep smiling and hiking, all day long.
V-Frames
A proprietary Atlas shape, our sturdy aluminum V-Frames are the key to an efficient, natural stride. The V shape tracks straight in deep snow, and the tapered tail pulls less snow as you step forward, saving your energy. The turned-up tail of the V-frame rolls easily into each step for a natural gait. Built with lightweight, durable 6000- and 7000-series aluminum, the V-frames are used on all Atlas snowshoes, including our new Youth Series.
Grom Binding
Simple and intuitive, the EVA foam tongue and the soft molded base of the Grom binding cradle the foot, providing warmth, smoothing pressure points and eliminating confusing straps.
Fixed Toe Cord
The fixed toe cord keeps the snowshoe underfoot and allows for easy maneuvering for energetic kids.
Heel Cleat
Our first patent revolutionized snowshoe performance and created an industry standard. The heel cleat adds traction and stability for climbing, descending and traversing varied terrain.
